In the DFG project VFU@Kiel an organizational, financial and operational model for the continuous operation across institutions and transdisciplinary use of a virtual research environment based on the Kiel Data Management Infrastructure (KDMI) has been developed and exemplary at Kiel University brought into the implementation process.
