Forwarding E-Mails
It is possible to forward your stu-mail to a different email address. Forward settings maybe changed in the webmailer's settings
Please note that forwarding to external addresses happens beyond the control of the University. In particular, e-mail delivery may be delayed considerably (up to multiple hours). Some e-mail providers also reject some or all forwarded e-mail.
Automatically forwarding work emails to external addresses may constitute a privacy violation. Please verify the legal requirements and conditions before activating a forward.
Two variants are on offer
Forward a Copy
Only a copy is forwarded to your private address. The original mail is delivered to your stu-mailbox. We recommend forwarding a copy.
Direct Forward
The message is directly forwarded to the configured address. No copy is stored in your stu-mailbox.
