Kurzbeschreibung
MAXQDA is a software product from VERBI GmbH for computer-aided qualitative data and text analysis and is currently only available for Windows and Mac. MAXQDA Analytics Pro is the extended version of MAXQDA and, in addition to all functions for qualitative & mixed methods research, also contains a module for quantitative text analysis (MAXDictio) and a module for statistical data analysis (MAXQDA Stats). An extended free-floating network license for the MAXQDA Analytics Pro version with 75 seats is currently available to CAU employees, students of the CAU and CAU institutions.

Costs
There are no cos for CAU employees and students at the CAU
License server
Only network licenses are managed via the data center, the use of which is controlled by a license server. The computers on which MAXQDA is used must therefore be in the campus network in order to be able to connect to the license server. Use via VPN is possible.
Available downloads
The MAXQDA-Software and the configuration file Config.ini required for the connection to the license server are distributed via the Windows file server
\\uni-kiel.de\files\software\maxqda ( connect as anetwork drive)
The login to the Windows file server takes place with the user:
uni-kiel\<RZ user ID>
or
uni-kiel\<stu-number>.
Password: your account password
Alternatively, you can find direct download links for the current MAXQDA version below. However, the required configuration file Config.ini must - as described above - be downloaded from the Windows file server!
MAXQDA Analytics Pro:
