Students and other members of Kiel University may make use of personal consulting regarding IT-related questions in the helpdesk buro during service hours. There, a team of student assistants will gladly provide consulting regarding the following issues:

  • Access to University internet via campus WLAN (eduroam) or access from home (VPN)
  • Computer virus problems
  • Consulting regarding stu-account
  • Support for using the computer lab (computer and printer)
  • Consulting regarding software acquisition for students (Windows 7/8 etc.)
  • Support regarding setting up uni mail


  • Personal consulting regarding IT-related questions during service hours.

The service office and the hotline can be reached from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
