Network time servers are used to synchronize clocks in computer and server systems via network.
To provide exact time sources, the computing department runs two stratum 1 clocks, which synchronize against DCF77 and GPS.
Range of service
Setting and synchronization of the clocks on the computer and server systems. The necessary settings to use the NTP servers of Kiel University can be found under Central Computer and IP Addresses.
