The University Computing Centre provides powerful resources for scientific computing. It advises scientists of Kiel University (CAU) in the scopes of system usage, parallelization, vectorization and optimization of scientific software and programs and assists them to apply and use national compute resources, which provide an even higher level of performance.
For research projects, the following compute systems are available for members of Kiel University:
- Linux clusters:
- Hybrid NEC HPC system, containing a Linux cluster, GPU and vector (SX-Aurora TSUBASA) subsystem:
- Supercomputing system in the North-German Supercomputing Alliance:
