Client configuration of access to exchange

If you are signed up for the service 'Exchange', then usually the configuration within the mail clients should automatically be made with the email address entered during the process of configuration. If any problems occur, you can proceed as follows:

 

Universally valid instructions for all mail clients and terminal devices:

server: ex.mail.uni-kiel.de

domain: UNI-KIEL

username: <username e.g. suabc007 or suXYZ123@uni-kiel.de
                             NAME@INSTITUTION.uni-kiel.de>
password: <Your password within the ActiveDirectory of Kiel University>

Blocked mail clients:

of producer Microsoft in the respective app stores in iOS and Android are prohibited by a resolution of University Board of Kiel University and are blocked on the exchange server of Kiel University.
