Removing eduroam profiles on IOS / IpadOS and MacOS devices

This step-by-step guide shows how to remove old or unwanted eduroam profiles from your IOS, IpadOS or MacOS devices

This is a neccesarry step when installing new profiles if you had previously configured any eduroam network on your device. 

Attention:

This guide shows the process for IOS / IpadOs as well as for MacOs devices. Because of that, each step contains two pictures. The first one shows the IOS / IpadOS version while the second one shows the MacOS Version. 

 

Step 1: 

Open the "Settings" app on your device and select the "General" tab.

Step 2:

When you have the "General" tap open, scroll to the bottom and select the "VPN & Device Management" tab (on IOS and IpadOS) or "Device Management" tab (on MacOS).

Select the "eduroam" profile

Now select the "Remove Profile" option on IOS and IpadOS or the "-" symbol on MacOS

Step 5:

Confirm the removal with your devices local password or PIN.

If the removal was successfull, there shoudlnt be a profile named "eduroam" anymore.

You can now install new profiles.
