The computing centre provides preconfigured Wordpress Blogs to be used by institutions, projects and university groups.

Range of service

The computing centre offers a centrally maintained and patched software installation. The data of the individual blogs is the responsibility of the participants.

Your benefits

You do not have to worry about installation and maintenance of the Wordpress software.

Availability

The service is available 24 hours a day in normal operation.

Fault reports are received around the clock via the hotline form.

To register, please use Form 1 - New or additional services, if you have not yet booked a web service. Normally new user IDs are assigned for the use of web services so that the responsibility for the web pages can be transferred from one person to another at a later date. Please indicate that you would like a pre-installed blog. Blogs have the URL www.blogs.uni-kiel.de/blogname, please specify this blogname as well.
