HPC introduction course
This course begins with a detailed presentation of the available HPC systems installed at our Computing Center. In the second part, we will explain all necessary steps for accessing and effectively using the HPC environment. This includes the following topics:
- Accessing the HPC systems
- Compiling and/or using software
- Working efficiently with the available file systems (local and global disk spaces, tape library)
- Using a batch system for the execution of scientific calculations
- Job and resource monitoring
Dates: 08.06.2023 (in English) and 06.07.2023 (in German), 14:00 - 16:00, online event (BBB or Zoom)
