Set up email filter
Emails can be filtered upon receiving, i.e. depending on the mail header or the content of a mail a specific action can be executed.
The creation of filter rules is different in diverse mail systems of the computing centre ('Hermes', 'Exchange'). The respective instructions will be listed separatedly.

Typical filter rules are i.a.:
- Collect SPAM in a separate folder
- If a mail is received, which is indexed as SPAM by the SPAM checker of the computing centre, copy this mail to the folder 'SPAM'.
- Collect mails from a mailing list
- If a mail is received, which was sent to mailing list XY, copy this mail to the folder 'list-XY'.
- Collect mails of certain sender in a separate folder
- If a mail is received, which was sent from colleague XY, copy this mail to the folder 'colleague-XY'
- These filters can be set in your mail client.
