You can find the Settings of the Talk application at the bottom of the left sidebar behind the Talk Settings button. This opens a dialog window with the settings. Here you can choose between different categories in the left menu. Under the Select Devices category, you can choose which camera and microphone you want to use by default. For the microphone, you will see a level next to the microphone icon that you can use to test whether signals are coming in. For the camera you will see a preview image. In the category Folder for attachments you can define in which folder files are stored that you upload to a chat room or that others have shared with you within a chat room. By default, the Talk folder in your root directory is preselected. In the Privacy category, you have the choice of whether others should be notified of your read status. This indicates with a small check mark that the message has been delivered and with a second that the message has been read. In the Sounds category you can decide whether you want an acoustic notification when a participant joins or leaves a (video) call.
